trisodium phosphate dodecahydrate is a colorless octahedral cubic crystal with a relative density (20 ℃) of 1-62 and a melting point of 73. 40 ℃. Weathering in dry air. Soluble in water itself crystallization; Insoluble carbon disulfide, ethanol. The aqueous solution is strongly alkaline, and the pH of 1% solution is 12.5. When heated to 100 °c, 11 crystals of water are lost to become a monohydrate; At 212 °c, they become anhydrate.

TRISODIUM PHOSPHATE TECHNICAL GRADE - Introduction
Soluble in water. The aqueous solution is acidic. It melts at about 75 ℃, loses 11 molecules of crystal water at 100 ℃, and is not completely dehydrated at 200 ℃. Melt in 3.5 parts of water and 1 part of boiling water, insoluble in ethanol. It is almost completely decomposed into disodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium hydroxide in the aqueous solution, which is strongly alkaline, and the pH of the 0.1% solution is 11.5. Slight toxicity, median lethal dose (rat, oral) 7.40 g/kg. It's corrosive. Solubility in water: 258G/L(20°C).
